Another Great Donation from Simon & Schuster Canada! #HomeswithWoofs

We have another wonderful donation from my publishers, Simon and Schuster Canada, who sent us a lovely package of childrens’ books for our silent auction. Because we are fundraising for an animal rescue farm, they’ve included some terrific picture books about farms, and also a number about rescue dogs. (Bee Meadow Farm only has one dog but they have loads of rescue goats, cats, pot-bellied pigs and other animals — I’ve joked we should rename Homes with Woofs to Homes with Hoofs this year!)

There are so many of them, we’re thinking we may sell them at a separate stand – what do you think?

Simon and Schuster Canada publishes my Inspector Ramirez series, and they’ve got a great heart. They’ve donated to Homes with Woofs before, and I know they give thousands of books to underprivileged children, too. They’re the best! Thanks so much!

Homes with Woofs will be an Open House on June 18 at Bee Meadow Farm in Apple Hill. It’s a super kid-friendly event — literally! I’ve never seen such friendly goats!

If you can help us out by building a creative doghouse that we can auction off, let us know! And we are also still looking for items for our silent auction. Contact info in the sidebar!
