Another donor! (Nick Bachusky) #HomeswithWoofs

Nick Bachusky is quite a guy! Nick, who’s a good pal of mine, is an Ottawa mortgage broker. Nick bachusky 2

Together with realtor Andrew Miller, he does a weekly podcast called Lunch out Loud Ottawa where the  pair interview interesting Ottawans. (I’m proud to say I was on the show once, in my alter ego as an author) and feature great local music. If you haven’t heard it before, be sure to listen: it’s great stuff.

Nick also volunteers for local charities and is helping us line up Yappy Hours for our event. These will be happy hours that will run at local restaurants and bars in the two weeks leading up to our June 12 auction. And now he’s made this wonderful offer to help us out as well!

Nick will  donate $ 100 to Homes with Woofs for any closed mortgage lead he gets that refers to this coupon code:

He’ll also give a $ 100 gift certificate to the person who refers him that lead. That means that if you either refer someone to Nick who places a mortgage with him, or hear about this promotion and deal with him directly,  Homes with Woofs (meaning the Ottawa Humane Society) will get a $ 100 donation. That’s pretty awesome!

Even better, the  $ 100 gift certificate will let you buy something at one of the local businesses that’s supporting Homes with Woofs with donations. That includes pet stores, decor shops, restaurants etc.  and the list is growing every day. Now that gets a happy tail wag!

You can follow Nick on Twitter@Bachusky or Facebook, and here’s a link to his always entertaining blog. Thanks, Nick!
